Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
With our planned transfer service, you will be greeted as soon as you arrive in Egypt.
Once you arrive in Cairo, our representative will wait for you with the Amon Ra Tours sign to ensure you are easily escorted in a private air-conditioned vehicle.
Then you will be taken to your private A/C vehicle, ready to transfer you to your Hotel.
Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Great Pyramids & Egyptian Museum
In the morning, after eating a delicious breakfast at your hotel, our expert tour guide will meet you in a private air-conditioned car to start your journey by visiting:
The Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, will be your first visit. The Great Sphinx, the Valley Temple and many other famous landmarks of Giza can be seen from this vantage point.
Then the Egyptian Museum, which contains hundreds of real antiques and statues, and a rare collection of Egyptian art, is your second stop. The most amazing show was King Tutankhamen's entire show, which included the riches of gold discovered in his tomb in 1920.
Once the tour is complete, you will be comfortably transferred to your hotel.

Day 3: Maadi Church / Coptic Cairo
After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, your expert tour guide will take you to visit the churches of Cairo:
This excursion will start with the Church of the Virgin Mary in Maadi. After that, you will visit the Hanging Church and St. Sergius, and then resume access to the Church of St. George and the Babylon Fortress in Old Cairo, which the Holy Family passed through. Then have lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo.
After completing your trip, our representative will transfer you to your hotel

Day 4: Cairo Churches
After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, your expert tour guide will take you to visit other important churches in Cairo:
Transfer to El Matareya, which is ancient Heliopolis, and visit the sacred tree "Maryam's Tree". It is the tree under which the Holy Family rested in its shade. Also, the baby Jesus caused water to flow from a spring from which he drank to awaken this tree.
Next, we will move on to get to the aromatic plant with a lovely scent called balsam. This plant is added to all perfumes from which an anointing or myron oil is made, which is used in church rites.
Then head to the Church of the Virgin Mary in the Zeitoun area. Italian artists painted the church, decorated with carvings of Christ, the Virgin, and many icons drawn by Italian artists.
Then have lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo. After completing your trip, our representative will transfer you to your hotel

Day 5: Cairo / Mostorad / Kafr El Sheikh
After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, your expert tour guide will take you to visit:
the city of Mostorod; It is known as “Al-Mahamah” and means the bathing tub because the Virgin Mary bathed in the baby Jesus and washed his clothes.
Then he headed to the small village of Minyat Samanoud, where its holy people received the family with warmth and hospitality, and Christ blessed them and sanctified its water spring in return. The remains of this ancient church are buried under the present-day St. Abanoub Church. as well as a huge granite tub, which he claimed the Virgin used for kneading.
Then to the town of Sakha near Kafr El-Sheikh. The Coptic name for the city is “Faqqa-Isos” which means “Jesus' foot”. Its name originated from the footprints of Christ, which appeared on the stone on which He placed His foot. Next, you will see the Church of the Virgin Mary, which holds a rock with the footprints of the baby Jesus.
You will get a lunch box during the flight. After completing your trip, our representative will transfer you to your hotel.

Day 6: Tel Basta / Tanis
After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, your expert tour guide will take you to continue the journey of the Holy Family in Egypt and visit:
Your first visit to the city of Babastis (Tel Basta). There, Jesus caused a spring of water to gush out for him to drink.
Then you will visit Tanis, the main capital of the 26th Dynasty. After that, you will arrive at the Small Museum, Ramesses Temple and Royal Tombs.
Then have lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo. After completing your trip, our representative will transfer you to your hotel

Day 7: Red Sea Monasteries / Jabal Al Tair / El Minya
After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, your expert tour guide will drive you in a private air-conditioned car south along the coast to visit:
Monasteries of St. Anthony and St. Paul. The two monasteries were built in the fourth century AD, but are set dramatically against the cliffs of the eastern desert. The Monastery of St. Anthony is the largest monastery in Egypt. St. Anthony's Church was built over the saint's tomb. St. Paul's is a relatively younger monastery but is decorated with equally stunning antiques.
Saint Paul can be considered the first ever monk. Then we head to Upper Egypt after the Holy Family trip. Our first stop will be in Jabal Al Tair, near the city of Minya. This is the cave where the Holy Family rests. It is now located inside the old church there
Then have lunch at a local restaurant. After completing your trip, our representative will transfer you to your hotel in Minya

Day 8: Tuna El-Gabal / Al Ashmunien / Tell El Amarna / Assuit
After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, your expert tour guide will take you in an air-conditioned private car to visit:
Tuna El-Gebel Cemetery. This place contains many important elements, such as the vaults of baboon and ibis that represent the god Thoth, the tomb of Isadora, the tomb of the priest House of Osiris, the ancient water wheel, and the cascade of the city limits of the Aten.
Then a hearty lunch at a local restaurant.
Then Ashmounin, you will enjoy visiting the open air museum with two huge statues of baboon and the ruins of the basilica with its pink granite columns. Then you reach the Beni Hassan site. It is located on the eastern bank of the Nile River. There we will see prominent tombs carved into the rock with scenes depicting local and regional life in the Middle Kingdom. Many of these scenes depict wrestling and military training.
After completing your trip, our representative will transfer you to your hotel in Assiut.

Day 9: Assuit / Cairo
After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, your expert tour guide will take you in an air-conditioned private car to visit:
Muharraq Monastery. This convent was where the Holy Family resided for 6 months and 10 days, which was the longest they had been in the same location. At this site, the Holy Family received the divine message to return to Palestine.
About 8 km west of the monastery, you will find the rock-cut tombs of Mayar, which belonged to the nobles and rulers during the Sixth and Twelfth Dynasties. The graves are kept in great condition and it would be a great visit.
Then have lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo. After completing your trip, our representative will pick you up on the return trip to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 10: Departure
After enjoying your breakfast, you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport in time for your flight back home.
