Tour Itinerary

An Egyptologist guide will pick you up in Safaga Port. You will start the day in the Giza plateau. Your Egyptologist guide will introduce you to the pyramids: Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure.

If you want to see how beautiful and impressive the pyramids are from the inside, you can go to their burial chambers. But your guide can't come with you because it will be too crowded. Around the pyramids, you can also ride a camel or a horse.

After you see the pyramids, your guide will take you across the plateau to get a picture of the three pyramids rising from the sand with the Cairo skyline in the background. This will be a picture you will never forget.

A short walk from the city side of the plateau, you'll come to the feet of the enigmatic Great Sphinx, thousands of years old and symbolic of Egypt. You can also see the Valley Temple, which is part of the pyramids of Khafre, in Giza.

The next stop is the Saqqara Necropolis, which contains the oldest central stone structure in the world. Your guide will tell you about the famous Step Pyramid built in the Third Dynasty (2630 BC) by the engineer Imhotep for King Djoser. Then you will go to the tombs of Saqqara, Mastaba Ti, and Prince Ptahhotep. You will also have the chance to look at art in the traditional bazaar and buy it if you wish.
