Tour Itinerary

After picking you up at your hotel, Nile Cruise, or at the train station in Luxor at 7:00 a.m., we will leave the center of the city and head to its western shore, where its famous necropolis is located.

Our first stop will be the Valley of the Kings, a gigantic necropolis with more than 60 tombs carved into the rocks. The first king buried here was Thutmosis I, later becoming the resting place of such important pharaohs as Tutankhamun, Ramses II, Ramses III, and Seti I. During the visit, we will enter the most spectacular tombs.

Leaving behind the Valley of the Kings we will go to the Valley of the Queens, where the tombs of the princesses and wives of the pharaohs of the New Empire are located. Among the tombs, we can visit is that of Nefertari, the favorite wife of Pharaoh Ramses II (entrance to the tomb of Nefertari not included).

Our next stop will be the Temple of Hatshepsut, dedicated to the only woman who reigned in Egypt for a long period. The work of the architect Sennenmut, the Temple of Hatshepsut is totally different from the rest, as it has a part excavated in the rock and another outside in the form of terraces.

On the way back to Luxor we will make the last stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two gigantic stone statues representing the pharaoh Amenhotep III relaxed, looking at the Nile and the rising sun.

The tour ends back at the starting point.
