What is the best time to visit Egypt from Australia?

You can go to Egypt whenever you want because there are so many tours that leave Australia and go to Egypt. During the summer months, however, temperatures may rise to the point where a lot of visitors, but not all, find the weather too hot to stand.

Egypt trips from Australia 2023

Egypt is known for its old pyramids, but it offers much more than just those buildings. You need to learn more about Egypt or its history to know what to see and do there. From the feedback we’ve gotten from customers over more than 60 years, we’ve put together a wide range of Egypt vacation packages that leave Australia.

Many tourists leave Egypt without seeing its most famous sights because there are so many of them.

Australian citizens’ requirements for passports and visas

Australians can now get an e-Visa for Egypt before they go, or they can get a visa at any international airport when they arrive in the country. Australians can do either one of these things. The Egyptian Embassy or one of the Egyptian Consulates in Australia can also handle visa applications. Here is a list of the costs for the different types of tourist visas:

Single entry e-Visa: To enter the country once and stay for up to 60 days, you’ll need to pay $25 for an e-Visa.

Multiple-entry e-Visa: You can stay in the country for up to 90 days longer if you buy a $60 multiple-entry e-Visa.

Visa on arrival for Australians: The fee for a 30-day stay is $25, with a visa purchased upon entry.

No one with an Australian passport needs a visa for 15 days to visit or stay in a Sinai resort. If you want to call one or more alternatives in Sinai, you can get a free entry permission stamp at the airports in Sharm el Sheikh, Saint Catherine, and Taba. But if you want to leave the area or stay for more than 15 days, you must get a visa at one of these airports.

What can Australians see and visit in Egypt?

Most Australia-Egypt tours will have you stay at least two nights in Cairo, giving you plenty of time to see all the sights the city offers.

Three of the most famous places in Egypt are the Egyptian Museum, the Great Pyramids of Giza, and the Step Pyramid of Djoser.

Luxor and Aswan are old towns that are often compared to Cairo in terms of the number of tourist attractions they offer. Both of these cities are often stopping on tours that leave from Australia. The Valley of the Kings, the Karnak Temple, and Queen Hatshepsut Temple are just a few ancient buildings and sites tourists can see in Luxor. Even the most experienced travellers who have been to Luxor often are always surprised by it.

The Aswan High Dam, the Nubian village on Elephantine Island, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the temples of Abu Simbel are some of the most popular places to visit in this city.

On our trips to Egypt from Australia, we see most of these and other important landmarks, but this is a partial list of the places we go. Again, if you can’t find an Egypt trip that meets all of your holiday needs and expectations, let us know, and we’ll be happy to design one for you that does.
