Luxor Attractions

The Tombs of the Nobles are in the Theban Necropolis. They are on the West Bank of the Nile, across from Luxor City. In this neighborhood, there are a number of tombs. Some of them hold the graves of some of the city's most powerful courtiers and residents.

In ancient Egyptian history, Tutankhamun is remembered as a pharaoh of the 18th dynasty. During the New Kingdom, from 1334 to 1325 B.C., he ruled Egypt as king.

The tombs of the queens of the New Kingdom of ancient Egypt are in a wadi called "the Valley," close to the Pharaohs' necropolis. From the 18th to the 20th dynasty, royal spouses, princesses, and even a few princes were buried in this tomb.

If you're looking for an expansive temple complex with an enormous basilica, two birth homes, and an ethereal lake, the Temple of Dendera is it. The site is home to various ancient Egyptian monuments, including those from the Ptolemaic period. However, there is evidence that it was initially occupied by construction dating as far back as Pepy II's the Old Kingdom. It is regarded as one of Egypt's finest-preserved structures and is notable for its Ptolemaic-style reliefs, which constitute one of the outstanding examples of Egyptian decorative art. Tourists may climb to the top of this temple to get a bird's-eye view of the complex, a unique feature.
