Black Desert
It takes about four to five hours from Cairo to the Black Desert. It's a popular place for tourists who want to get away from the usual tourist spots in Egypt and have a different kind of experience.
El Fayoum Oasis
The Fayoum Oasis is one of Egypt's most famous oasis areas and is often called "Faiyum Egypt." You can read about Egypt's Oases to get an idea of how important it has been for farming since ancient times. The name of the Fayoum comes from the Coptic word "Peiom," which means "sea."
Farafra Oasis
Farafra is in the west of Egypt, between the oasis of Dakhla and the oasis of Bahariya. It is 180 km from the Black Desert, 170 km from the Bahariya Oasis, and 627 km from Cairo.
Today we will talk about one of the most important semi-engineered constructions of the twentieth century. This is the Aswan High Dam. Its construction began in 1960 and ended in 1970.
The Dakhla Oasis, which is situated 189 kilometers west of Kharga and has more than 600 natural springs and lakes, is a popular tourist destination. Among the orchards and green meadows are several charming mud-brick settlements can be seen. The oasis was home to around 70,000 people. The ancient town is a maze of narrow lanes with clay-covered walls and intricate wooden lintels, and the buildings are tucked away among them.
